We’re focused on uncovering the mechanisms of bacterial pathogenesis in Streptococcus pyogenes and Enterococcus faecalis, and developing cutting-edge therapeutic strategies to combat severe infections.

🔬 Current Open Positions:

• Postdoctoral Researchers

Our lab investigates exciting areas such as:

• The impact of bacterial metabolites (SCFAs) on immune response and tissue damage

• Innovative therapeutic targets, including metabolic inhibitors and protease blockers

• The role of hyper-NETosis in host-pathogen interactions and immune modulation

• Advanced models of bacterial infections, including skin and soft tissue infections (SSTIs) and catheter-associated UTIs (CAUTI)
