🤩 I am absolutely thrilled to announce that the Xu Lab has been awarded two NIH R21 grants from the NIAID, starting this July 2026! This incredible milestone will allow us to drive forward our research on infectious diseases and host-pathogen interactions.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine and my chair, Dr. Gary Rankin, for their unwavering support and guidance!
🔬 A huge thank you to all of my wonderful collaborators across the scientific field! Our progress is a true team effort, and I am so grateful for your brilliant minds and partnership!
A special, heartfelt thank you also goes out to my former mentors, Dr. Michael Caparon and Dr. Scott Hultgren, for their dedication during my postdoctoral training. Mike is now retired and enjoying racing, but I could not have continued this vital work without his invaluable support! ❤️
💼 We are hiring! The Xu Lab will be looking for two talented postdocs to join our team soon. If you are interested in this opportunity to work on cutting-edge infectious disease research, please send me an email or message!
